What are the benefits of Terracotta Sunscreens?
Terracotta sunscreen profiles create effective solar shading while adding depth and articulation to the façade. Designed to reduce heat gain and glare, these systems improve occupant comfort and overall building performance.
Manufactured from natural clay, Argeton® profiles offer long-term durability, color stability, and resistance to weathering without coatings or ongoing maintenance. A wide range of shapes—including square, round, rectangular, and elliptical—allows for flexible design and precise control of light and shadow.
Profiles can be installed vertically or horizontally and are mounted to a secondary aluminum support system, enabling integration with a variety of façade assemblies. Custom profiles and colors are available to meet project-specific design goals.
